Praise God Ministry

“Pastor Ratna Maitra came into the Lord and was baptized in USA in the year 1996. She had three near death medical situations where the Grace of our Lord saved her. Following the transfer of her husband to Kuwait from Boston USA she settled in Kuwait. She attended the English Language service in NECK compound. As she had the thirst for the word of God she completed many courses the church has to offer. She went on to become a graduate in theology in 2005 from The Vision International University USA. She was formally ordained as a Pastor on May 21, 2006 in the Evening service of the Light House Church by Pastor Jerry. She speaks English, Telugu, Hindi and Bengali. She is married to Pinak P Maitra who is the Senior Pastor in Praise God Ministry. She led her husband who was a Bengali Brahmin to be baptized by Pastor Jerry on April 27, 2001.They have two sons Nikhil and Nirmal who have earned the USA Presidential Award for excellence in academics. Her sons also have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior. Her empathy towards the less privileged and the undying spirit for the word of God made her to start her ministry with a humble beginning of a cell group which has been blessed by the Lord to become the Praise God Ministry as we know it today.“
