Drawing parallels between the loss of Jerusalem's temple glory and the spiritual state of believers, she emphasizes that rebellion causes gold to lose its luster and leads to hardheartedness like that of ostriches in the wilderness. However, through the Holy Spirit and diligent engagement with God's Word, believers are purified and restored into refined gold. By aligning with divine instruction and living obediently, Christians become beacons of light and spiritual fruitfulness in the world.
