Pastor Ratna Maitra preaches from 1 Corinthians 2:5, emphasizing that believers must base their faith on the power of God rather than human wisdom. She highlights that true faith is given through God's grace and mercy, not by human eloquence or intellect. Reflecting on Apostle Paul's ministry, she notes how preaching in the Spirit's power dispels spiritual darkness, purifies the heart, and confirms the Gospel with divine strength. Believers are encouraged to avoid hardening their hearts in unbelief, to walk in obedience, and to trust that God knows their struggles and hears every prayer.

Key Truths

  • Faith must rest firmly in God's divine power rather than human intellect or persuasive wisdom.
  • The Word of God and the Holy Spirit dispel spiritual darkness and cleanse believers from harmful influences.
  • True spiritual strength and divine approval come when the Gospel is proclaimed with honesty and reliance on God.

Apply It Today

Rely daily on the power of the Holy Spirit and the truth of Scripture instead of trusting solely in personal logic or human opinions when facing life's difficulties.

Reflect

In what areas of your life are you currently leaning on human wisdom instead of placing your complete trust in the power of God?

Prayer

Lord Jesus, clear away all fear and unbelief from our hearts. Help us to stand strong in Your power, obey Your Word, and walk in Your truth each day. Amen.
